The Early Bird is Central Illinois’ best bet in charity poker. The low buy in is great for building bankrolls, testing out new game theory or just a great poker tournament at a great cost. Where else can you put in $20 and have better odds on your money???
What is the Early Bird? The early bird poker tournament is the longest running tournament in the Chicago land area, and it is high time we bring it down to our central Illinois poker players.
Where can I play? The Early Bird will now be offered at every CICG poker event in Central Illinois at the start of the event (2pm).

Early Bird Tournament Details:
$20.00 buy in ~ ($15.00 to the prize pool + $5.00 for the hosting charity)
2pm start time
3,000 starting stacks
+ a $5 add-on for an additional 2,000 in chips
5,000 Total Max Starting Stack
12 minute blind levels
(Check out the blind structure below)
Late reg and re-entry through Level 5 (roughly 3pm)
BREAK ADD ON:
$10 optional add on for 5,000 in chips
($7.5 to the prize pool + $2.5 for the hosting charity)
Only available at the break (between levels 5 & 6), you must have chips in play in order to purchase the break add on.
